Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) are carbon-based chemicals that easily evaporate into gaseous forms at room temperature.
VOC`s are commonly referred to as solvents and can be found in a wide range of paint and cleaning products to improve performance or durability. Most clean-up operations often also require toxic solvents, which release additional VOC pollutions.
VOC's is found in everything from paints and finishes to underarm deodorant and freshly baked bread VOCs produce ozone, a common air pollutant that has been proven to be a public health hazard.
